Delhi – Agra ( Dholpur ) - Jaipur – Jodhpur – Deogarh – Ranakpur – Udaipur – Mumbai – Goa – Mumbai
Day 1 - Arrival Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Meet & greet by our representative as you exit the ARRIVALS TERMINAL
Transfer to hotel by private car & chauffeur.
DELHI : The capital city of modern India has behind it centuries of history, which has enriched its culture. Nowhere has tradition blended with modernity on a scale as evident in Delhi - age-old monuments stand check by jowl with ultra modern hi-rise buildings. Delhi has been the seat of power for centuries. Today old and new city combine to present a harmonious whole offering the traveller, elegant shops, broad laburnum lined avenues, sun warmed elegant forts and mosques that were once stronghold of Mughal powers and colorful bazaars.
Overnight – HOTEL PATAUDI PALACE ( Sher Mahal – Luxury Suite with 01 double and 02 single rooms on first floor overlooking the pool OR similar ) – PATAUDI ( 60 KM, 1 HR FROM AIRPORT; 1.5 HR FROM DELHI CITY ).
Day 2 - In Delhi
Morning : Sightseeing of New Delhi. Visit the 12th century Qutab Minar, gracefully hand-carved for its entire height of 234ft, and the iron pillar, which has withstood the ravages of time and not rusted even after 1500 years. Drive past the India Gate ( the war memorial dedicated to the martyr’s of World War I ), The President's Palace -formerly the Viceroy's Palace, Parliament House and the Secretariat buildings - an interesting blend of the Victorian and 20th century architecture.
Afternoon : Take the New Delhi Metro to Chandni Chowk. Sightseeing of Old Delhi takes you to Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India. Visit the magnificent Red Fort - a marvel in red
sandstone, built on the banks of river Yamuna by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Drive past Chandni Chowk, once an imperial avenue of Mughal Royalty which today is the busiest commercial area of the city. Visit Raj Ghat ( memorial to Mahatma Gandhi ).
Overnight – HOTEL PATAUDI PALACE ( Sher Mahal –Luxury Suite with 01 double and 02 single rooms on first floor overlooking the pool OR similar) – PATAUDI ( 60 KM, 1 HR FROM AIRPORT; 1.5 HR FROM DELHI CITY ).
Day 3 - Drive Delhi –Agra - Dholpur ( 250 km – 05 hr approx )
Morning : leave for Agra by private car & chauffeur with photo stops enroute.
AGRA : on the right bank of the river Yamuna, Agra reigns over a glorious past created by warriors as skilled in art and architecture as they were on the battlefield. The city’s historical origins before the Mughal conquest are dim and it was practically founded by the Mughal Emperor, Babur. To the lover of art and to the traveler seeking the wonders of India, Agra is the goal of a pilgrimage, its shrines being the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.
In Agra, visit Taj Mahal –which is the seventh wonder of world, built by Shah Jahan as a memorial to his wife Mumtaz Mahal by the banks river Yamuna. After her untimely death, Shah Jahan had her mortal remains buried in this mausoleum. And after his own demise he was placed to rest next to his beloved queen in the same mausoleum The Taj has been called the most extravagant monument ever built for the sake of love. The great monument took almost 22 years to build and was completed in 1653.
Resume drive to Dholpur, 30 km further of Agra.
DHOLPUR : Dholpur is named as Dhawalpuri after its ruler Dhawal Deo, once the ruler
of the city, its name was distorted with passage of time and got its present name Dholpur.
On arrival in Dholpur, check-in at the Hotel Raj Niwas Palace.

Day 4 – Dholpur – Agra– Dholpur ( 30 km – 01 hr approx one way )
Morning : visit the Agra Fort - the 16th century Mughal monument overlooking the gardens of Taj Mahal. The powerfull fortress of red stand-stone encompasses many fairy tale palaces and two very beautiful mosques.
Rest of the day at leisure at the hotel.
Overnight : HOTEL RAJ NIWAS PALACE ( Luxury Cottage –with own plunge pool ) – DHOLPUR
Day 5 – Drive Dholpur - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur ( 270 km – 6.5 hr approx )
Morning: proceed to “FATEHPUR SIKRI” - situated around 40 km from Agra built by Emperior Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. This was the capital of the Mughal emperor Akbar between 1570 to 1586. Fatehpur Sikri’s sprawling structure is made of red sandstone and combines both Hindu and Muslim architecture. The main entrance to this walled city is through the 175 feet Buland Darwaza. It remains today in much the same condition that it was over 300 years ago. It is complete with palaces and mosques and used to be a town larger than London when it was originally constructed. Now it is an extraordinary place to wander around with its buildings in near perfect condition.

Continue drive to JAIPUR by private car & chauffeur with photo stops en route.

Day 6 - In Jaipur
JAIPUR : the Capital of Rajasthan and built by Sawai Jai Singh, the city of Jaipur is amongst the first of India’s planned cities. The ancient heart of the Pink City still beats in its fairy tale palaces; rugged fortresses perched on barren hills and broad avenues. Jaipur has a timeless appeal in its colorful bazaars that delights for its Rajasthan handlooms and trinkets. Beautifully laid out gardens and parks, attractive monuments and marvelous heritage hotels, once the residence of Maharajas, make the visit a memorable one.
Morning : visit of Amber Fort. Amber is a classic, romantic Rajasthani Fort Palace Precious stones and mirrors are embedded into the plaster. Inside the fort visit the Jag Mandir –the famed room with all the four walls and ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces, which were specially imported from Belgium during that period. En-route to Amber Fort, you will have a brief photography stop at Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Winds.
Afternoon : City tour of Jaipur which begins with a visit to the Maharaja's City Palace, a modern 18th century Palace built by the ruler of Amber state in the style of a fortified campus, is still the residence of the Royal family of Jaipur. Part of the palace is converted into the Sawai Man Singh II museum.
Enjoy a memorable experience of fine dining at the Palace Café ( on direct payment ) - situated in premises of the Sawai Man Singh II museum, it creates a matchless Royal ambience in an air-conditioned buffet Restaurant, and is an exquisite courtyard for alfresco dining.
Later visit the Jantar Mantar, which is the largest stone and marble crafted Observatory in the world. Situated near the gate of the City Palace, the observatory has 17 large instruments, many of them still in working condition.

Day 7 - Drive Jaipur to Jodhpur ( 330 km / 6 hr )
Morning : leave for Jodhpur by private car & chauffeur with photo stops en route.
JODHPUR : situated in the arid land of Rajasthan, this place was founded by Rajput Chief Rao Jodha in 1459. Earlier, it was the capital of the Marwar state of Rajasthan. Jodhpur is surrounded by a tall stonewall of about 10 kms long punctuated by 8 doors facing various directions leading to different places of Jodhpur.
Jodhpur is a beautiful small city with the golden sands covering the thorny shrub growing arid land. It has about 100 towers most of which are surrounded by defensive battlements. The forts and palaces in the city are the major source of attraction in the city. Exploring the forts gives you a feel of the times when the Rajput might was at its peak. The gates and the walls of the forts speak of the battles they have witnessed.

Day 8 – In Jodhpur
Morning: visit the impressive Mehrangarh Fort -on a 37 mt low sandstone hill built by Rao Jodha in 1459. From the top of the fort one can get a bird’s eye view of the old city. You will notice the predominance of blue houses referred to as Brahmin houses -the colour being associated with the high caste. Proceed to the Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph built in 1899 for Maharajah Jaswant Singh II, and smaller memorials to other Maharajahs of Jodhpur. At the end of the tour enjoy a short walk through the local and vibrant bazaar of Jodhpur.
Afternoon at leisure.

Day 9 - Drive Jodhpur to Deogarh ( 180 km – 04 hr approx )
Morning : leave for Deogarh by private car & chauffer with photo stops en route.
DEOGARH : As soon as you glimpse the Deogarh Mahal, you can see that its rulers must have been major players in the aristocracy of Mewar - their magnificent fort a fitting stronghold for one of the sixteen "umraos" - the most senior feudal barons attending on the Maharana of Udaipur. But you might not necessarily guess that the Rawats of Deogarh ( a local title equivalent to "Raja" ) once ruled over the fourth largest feudal estate or "jagir" in all of Rajasthan. At its most extensive, their territory comprised of some 210 villages, with one of their defensive forts as far as 100 kms away. Yet there is little ostentation and even less gold to be found in their palace. Like most of the Mewar nobility, they spent too much time fighting to have much to spare for amassing great wealth.
Deogarh Mahal was converted into a hotel by the present owner Rawat Nahar Singh. A part of the Mahal is still occupied by his kin. The family is closely associated with the hotel and personally supervises the running of the hotel and entertaining the guests.

Afternoon: walk through the Deogarh village and its local market. It's an interesting way to familiar with the culture, tradition and lifestyle of villagers. Peek into the rustic rural life during your Deogarh tour in Rajasthan. If you are a history buff then the place will definitely leave an impact on your heart and mind once the day come to an end. There is a lot more to see from landscape scenery to plush hills. Arrest the true essence of Deogarh in your camera. Have a glimpse at an awe-inspiring view of the Aravali mountain range from the top of a hill.

Day 10 - At Deogarh
The day is at leisure at Deogarh.
Optionally, take a joy ride on a local rural train ( 1930’s model ) through a wooded hill section OR have a relaxing Ayurvedic massage at the hotel.

Day 11 - Drive Deogarh – Ranakpur - Udaipur ( 135 km – 3.5 hr approx )
Morning: leave for Udaipur by private car en-route, stopping to visit the magnificent 15th C Jain Temples at “Ranakpur”. The drive is an exceptionally beautiful excursion through the rugged, wooded hills of Rajasthan This is one of the best complexes of Jain religion which is particularly noted for the grandiose scale of its architecture and the highly decorated ceilings, walls and 1444 different pillars. Situated in the lovely valley of the Aravali, its surroundings are peaceful and picturesque. The main temple in the complex is the Chaumukha ( four-faced ) temple, built in 1439. Its 29 halls are supported by 1444 pillars, no two of which are alike.

Day 12 - In Udaipur
UDAIPUR : Founded in 1568, by Maharaja Udai Singh, Udaipur rivals any of the world famous creations of the Mughals. As the capital of the old Mewar state, it was the only Rajput stronghold to uphold its Hindu allegiance in the face of Muslim invasion. From the late 16th century, peace brought about an era of renaissance in the arts and encouraged the building of beautiful Palaces around the Lake, which culminated in the City Palace, one of the largest Palace complexes in the world. The Lake itself is a romantic setting surrounding the gleaming white | Lake Palace and the Jag Mandir – a refuge of the rebel Mughal Prince, Shah Jehan, who soon became the creator of the Taj Mahal in Agra.
Morning : Half day city tour of Udaipur, a splash of colour in Rajasthan that is brighter when tinged with the tones of local lore and legends.
Visit the impressive City Palace complex an assemblage of palaces on the banks of the Lake Pichola. The Dilkhush Mahal, Sheesh Mahal studded with glittering Belgium Mirrors, Moti Mahal and the Palace of Lord Krishna are small of the palaces all of which ornately decorated. The main entrance, a magnificent triple-arched gate named the Tripolia, was built in 1725. The Suraj Gokhada, the Balcony of the Sun, where the Suryavanshi Maharanas of Mewar presented themselves in times of trouble to the people to restore their confidence, is also a fascinating sight.
Late continue to visit the Jagdish Temple, a 16th-century temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the preserver in the Hindu Trinity of Gods. Also visit the Sahelion Ki Bari gardens ( pleasure gardens and fountains ). Later drive around the Fatehsagar Lake.
Late Afternoon : boat cruise on Lake Pichola, 4-Km long and 3-Km broad, surrounded by splendid hills, palaces, temples, bathing ghats and embankments. Disembark and visit the Jagmandir Island – a beautiful pleasure pavilion spread over four acres with marble dome and beautifully gardens, fountains and courtyards.

Day 13 - In Udaipur
Day at leisure in Udaipur to explore the Old City Of with its colorful bazaars and miniature painting schools.
Optional Visit to Devigarh – an exquisite 16 century Fort Palace set in a charming countryside with the village of Delwara and its ancient Temples at its footsteps. Devigarh has now been converted into a luxury hotel and it is possible to have lunch there.

Day 14 : Fly Udaipur – Mumbai ( 9W 3401 0840 / 1020 hr ) connecting Mumbai – Goa ( 9W 475 1200 / 1300 hr)
Morning: transfer to airport for flight to Mumbai.
On arrival at Mumbai airport, connect flight to Goa.
On arrival, transfer to hotel

Day 15 to Day 19 - In Goa
Days at leisure in Goa.
GOA: on India's west coast, it was once a Portuguese enclave. The legacy of Christianity and of the Gothic architectural style popular in Portugal during previous centuries, can still be seen in the churches of Goa today. Many of the significant churches are in Old Goa and in Panaji, the capital of Goa.
Panaji, situated on the left bank of the Mandovi river, the capital of Goa is a heritage location with many renowned Churches and buildings constructed in Gothic style. The church dedicated to our Lady of Immaculate Conception, the Chapel of St. Sebastian and the statue of Abbe Faria are worth visiting.
Optionally, take a half day tour of Old Goa and Panaji.

Day 20 - Fly Goa – Mumbai ( 9W 474 1615 / 1715 hr ) followed by international flight
Morning : at leisure in Goa.
