DAY 1: DELHI
Arrive in the Indian capital by international flight. Overnight in Delhi

DAY 2: DELHI
Guided visit of this historic city including visits to Jama Masjid – largest mosque in India, the Red Fort followed by the stately government buildings of the British era designed by Sir Luytens, Humayun’s tomb and the towering minarets of Qutab Minar. Take a rickshaw ride along Chandi Chowk (Silver Street) to experience the hustle and bustle of this famous commercial street in Old Delhi.
Return to hotel for overnight stay

DAY 3: DELHI - AGRA
Depart by surface to Agra (Approximately 128 miles, 4-5 hrs drive). Evening at leisure Overnight in Agra

DAY 4: AGRA
Morning visit of Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.
Agra - famous as the home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World – Taj Mahal. The architectural splendour of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces in Agra is a vivid reminder of the opulence of the legendary Mughal Empire. Agra is known for its superb inlay work on marble and soapstone by artisans who have inherited their great craft skills from their ancestors. The city is also famous for its carpets & gold thread embroidery

DAY 5: AGRA / JAIPUR
Morning departure by road to the pink city of Jaipur. En route visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri (Approximately 147 miles, 6-7 hrs drive).
This exquisite city built by Akbar the Great in 1569, in red sandstone, with its forts, palaces and mosques was abandoned 14 years after its creation due to political reasons.

DAY 6: JAIPUR
Morning excursion to magnificent Amber Fort which is ascended on elephant back. Afternoon at leisure or if interested, explore the local shops of Jaipur and pick up some beautiful local crafts especially carpet weaving, silks, precious gems, gold and silver jewellery.

DAY 7: JAIPUR
Morning tour of this first planned city includes the imposing City Palace - which is now a museum, the ancient Observatory and exotic Hawa Mahal “The Palace of the Winds”
Evening at leisure. Overnight in Jaipur

DAY 8: JAIPUR – DELHI
Morning Leisurely drive to Delhi (Approximately 165 miles, 4-5 hrs drive). On arrival transfer to airport hotel for use of facilities. Transfer to Delhi International Airport for homeward flight.
